If You “Had To”, Would You Be Successful?
Sometimes it’s amazing to think about what we are willing to do for an employer, but why not for ourselves?
Why do you get up in the morning at the time that you do? Why do you rush through breakfast, if you even eat it all, to sit in traffic and go to that J.O.B. (Just Over Broke) that you hate? Then you get there and spend most, if not all of your day inside, in a cramped cubicle doing something you don’t even enjoy.
For what?
30k, 50k, 100k…what’s the price tag on your freedom??
Because let’s be honest…when you are working at a J.O.B. that you hate and rushing through the rest of your life to accommodate that job, wishing away the weeks to get to the weekends…you are sacrificing your freedom!
Then to think about the type of tasks you have to do all day. Filing papers, sitting in meetings, organizing the company finances, listening to your boss micro-manage you all day long. Is it really worth it? Is that what you went to school and got an education for?
The truth of the matter is that so many people would love to own their own home based business, but so many people never will.
Why?
Because they aren’t willing to work harder on themselves than they do on their job.
They are willing to do the boring, monotonous, tedious things that they have to do every day when they go to work, because they feel like they have no choice. Ironically, if they decided to invest some of their time and energy into learning what it takes to run a successful online business, they would be able to free themselves from their 9 to 5 job forever.
You see, we are so conditioned that we must go to school, get a good job, live within our means and retire at age 65.
What??
You mean I won’t really own my life until I’m 65?
I don’t think so!
There is so much possibility to have everything you want in your life if you have enough passion and desire and are willing to invest in yourself to get it.
So next time someone tells you to go file some papers, ask yourself…
“How do I truly want to live my life and do I really have to be doing this?”
